Phenikaa University signed the memorandum of understanding with The University of Texas at Arlington
Internationalizing the training programs and widening the international networks is the direction as well as the goal for development of Phenikaa University. This is one of the development strategies of the University in order to improve the training and researching quality. With that goal, on Oct 29, 2019, Phenikaa University delegation, led by Mr. Ho Xuan Nang - Chairman of the Board of Phenikaa University, paid a working visit to The University of Texas at Arlington (USA). During the visit, the two universities signed the cooperative agreement in science and technology which is in effect for 5 years.
Accordingly, the two parties will cooperate in training, researching, improving academic abilities, exchanging lecturers and students, developing the joint-tranining programs between the two in technology, material science, control and automation disciplines. This is the opportunity for lecturers and students of Phenikaa University to be exposed to advanced academic knowledge in the world, further improving the quality of teaching and studying at Phenikaa. Besides, the two parties will regularly exchange information to organize conferences, scientific research seminars in order to help Phenikaa students get accessed to international programs and receive international degrees.

The Memorandum of Understanding Signing ceremony between Phenikaa University and The University of Texas at Arlington is the strong commitment of Phenikaa University in improving the training environment, creating an international, interdisciplinary, multilevel and multisystem studying environment at Phenikaa, providing students with cost-saving opportunities to study and receive international degrees approved by USA and Europe.
Right after the Signing Ceremony, Dr. Ho Xuan Nang, Phenikaa University delegation and Principal of the College of Engineering and Deans of other departments (Computer Engineering and Science, Material Engineering and Science, and Electronics Engineering Departments) had an in-depth working session, discussing about the training programs of the two universities in order to build joint-training programs at graduate and post-graduate levels; as well as the ability to build the joint-researching projects in basics and applied science. The in-depth working session also opened up new directions for Phenikaa University in developing training programs.
The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) was founded in 1895. According to the rankings of US News & World Report, UTA is ranked in top 126 universities in the USA (2018). UTA’s students are from 50 states of the USA and more than 100 countries in the world. The University has 180 training programs from bachelor to doctorate level.
